The Juno Project
Geo is advancing its Juno Project in Western Australia, focusing on significant mineral resource opportunities. The Juno Project, a joint venture with Callum Baxter (80% held by Global and 20% by Mr Baxter), is located approximately 100km south of the town of Paraburdoo. Callum Baxter serves as the operator of the project. Mr Baxter, a geologist with over 30 years of experience in global mineral exploration, was a founding director of Greatland Gold plc and is credited with the discovery of the Havieron deposit in Western Australia, an intrusion-related gold system with a peak market cap of over £500m.
The Juno Project exhibits striking geophysical similarities to the Havieron discovery, with a large residual gravity response and a prominent magnetic feature. These features are consistent with Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) and Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG) type deposits. The Juno Project’s magnetic feature covers an area of approximately 5km x 2km, compared to Havieron’s 1km x 1km magnetic response.
